My husband and I started our hobby farm in Dawsonville, Georgia in 2022. We have big plans, but are (trying) to keep things slow and manageable!
We started raising rabbits in 2024. Our rabbits are raised for meat, fur, and pets. We currently raise Standard Rex and Palomino rabbits. We plan to add more breeds in the future.
In the house, we have 3 dogs (Clint Barton, TAZERFACE, and Lucifer), and 4 cats (Ysera, Garfield, and Choo Choo).
We plan to add several varieties of livestock and plants to our product list. If you have something specific in mind, reach out to us!
By night, I am is a licensed veterinary technician. Giving rabbits everything they need to keep them healthy sometimes means using Western medicine.
Withdrawal times will always be followed by another week before processing. This allows us to treat our rabbits as needed, and keep ourselves safe.
Except for winter, our rabbits are primarily fed a diet of forage from around our property. No herbicides, pesticides, etc. have been used on our property. (We bought this property in 2022, previous use of sprays etc is unknown.)
After falling in love with the Palomino breed, we knew we wanted to spread awareness for them. This led us down the rabbit hole of heritage breeds, and the livestock conservancy.
We joined the Conservancy, and plan on adding more heritage animals to our farm. Check back to see what we find!
